LASAGNA

 

1 lb lasagna noodles (cooked according to package directions)

1 ½ lb mozzarella cheese (shredded)

3 lb ricotta cheese

1 cup grated Romano cheese

2 quarts Italian tomato sauce (See recipe for sauce)

 

Line 9x13 glass or metal baking dish with some sauce

Layer lasagna noodles, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, Romano, and sauce.

Layer 2-3 layers ending with noodles, some sauce, and some mozzarella.

 

Bake 3500 F for one hour or until lasagna bubbles.

 

Optional: Add sliced, cooked Italian sausage to each layer.

          or   Add browned ground beef to each layer.
